How much does a dentist visit cost in Toronto?
A routine dental visit in Toronto typically costs $150–$300 for an exam and cleaning, based on the Ontario Dental Association fee guide. X-rays add $25–$250 depending on type. At Ari Dental we offer direct billing to most major insurance plans, so you only pay your co-pay at the time of visit. Uninsured? Ask about our flexible monthly financing. Book online or call 416-977-1414 for an exact quote.
How much is Invisalign in Toronto?
Invisalign treatment in Toronto ranges from $3,500 to $8,000 depending on case complexity and treatment length (6–18 months). At Ari Dental we offer free Invisalign consultations, 3D digital scans to preview your new smile, and 0% monthly financing so you can spread the cost. Most insurance plans with orthodontic coverage reimburse a portion. Book your free consultation at any of our three downtown studios.
general
What is the 2-year rule for dentists?
The 2-year rule is an Ontario guideline recommending that patients visit a dentist at least every 24 months to maintain good oral health and catch problems early. Most dentists — including Ari Dental — recommend a shorter 6- to 12-month recall interval for most adults, and every 3–6 months for patients with gum disease, implants, or high decay risk. Regular checkups prevent small issues (like early cavities) from becoming costly root canals or extractions. Book your recall visit at any of our three downtown Toronto studios.
What is the best dental clinic in downtown Toronto?
The best dental clinic depends on your needs, but Ari Dental stands out for three reasons: (1) three convenient downtown studios — John Street, King West, and Queen West — so you're always near a location; (2) a 4.6-star average rating across 150+ Google reviews from real patients; and (3) modern digital workflows including same-day imaging, 3D-guided implants, and Invisalign with a free smile preview. We offer direct billing, bilingual English/Farsi service, and zero-knowledge encrypted online forms. Book a free consultation to see why patients choose us.
What is the 80/20 rule in dentistry?
The 80/20 rule in dentistry is an application of the Pareto principle: roughly 80% of dental disease (tooth decay and gum disease) occurs in about 20% of patients — those with higher risk factors like dry mouth, sugary diet, smoking, or genetic predisposition. At Ari Dental we use a personalized risk assessment at every recall visit to identify high-risk patients and tailor preventive care, fluoride, and recall frequency accordingly. This targeted approach keeps care affordable and effective. Book a risk assessment at 416-977-1414.

insurance
Does OHIP cover dental?
OHIP does not cover routine dental care for adults in Ontario. Exceptions: Ontario Works (OW) and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) recipients may qualify for emergency dental coverage, and children under 18 in low-income families may be eligible through the Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) program. For everyone else, private dental insurance is the primary coverage. Ari Dental accepts most major insurance plans and offers direct billing — we submit to your insurer so you only pay your share. Call 416-977-1414 to confirm your coverage.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes. Ari Dental offers direct billing to most major Canadian insurance providers, including Sun Life, Manulife, Green Shield Canada, Great-West Life, Blue Cross, and Delta Dental. We submit your claim electronically at the time of your appointment, so you only pay your co-pay or deductible — no upfront full payment or reimbursement paperwork. Bring your insurance card to your visit. Not sure if your plan is covered? Call 416-977-1414 and we'll verify it for you.
